Senior Functional Consultant - SuccessFactors (ECP)

A leading Australian financial institution is seeking a hands-on Senior SuccessFactors Functional Consultant to deliver payroll adjustments and enhancements as part of a Time Tracking implementation project.
This is end-to-end delivery work: designing and configuring payroll changes that ensure employees are paid accurately and on time following the introduction of new Time Tracking functionality. You'll work embedded with the Payroll and HR teams, designing robust payroll schemas, wage types, and integrations that seamlessly connect with Time Tracking and existing Financial systems.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead functional design for Employee Central Payroll adjustments aligned to Time Tracking requirements
- Configure payroll schemas, wage types, pay components, and retro processing rules to accommodate time tracking data flows
- Design integration touchpoints between Time Tracking and Payroll systems; ensure accurate time-to-pay processing and cut-off management
- Partner with technical teams to validate data reconciliation, error handling, and controls
- Lead integration and UAT cycles; test complex payroll scenarios and time tracking to payroll workflows
- Facilitate design workshops with Payroll, HR, and Finance stakeholders; provide clear options and recommendations
- Support cutover planning and provide hands-on hypercare support post-go-live
Requirements
- 8+ years hands-on experience delivering SAP SuccessFactors and/or Core HR implementations
- Proven track record delivering 2-3 full end-to-end Employee Central Payroll implementations
- Strong expertise in Australia payroll (statutory requirements, tax, superannuation, awards, deductions)
- New Zealand payroll experience is a bonus
- Deep understanding of payroll operations and controls; ability to translate business and regulatory requirements into configuration
- Experience integrating payroll with time tracking, HR service delivery, and financial reporting systems
- Hands-on builder mindset; able to work embedded with client teams
- Strong stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills
