We're looking for a friendly, reliable and compassionate Patient Transport Officer to join our team at GenesisCare's Southport clinic on a permanent part-time basis, working 45.6 hours per fortnight with potential for more hours dependant on patient numbers.
In this role, you'll do much more than drive – you'll provide a welcoming, supportive experience for patients travelling to and from their cancer treatment appointments. For many of our patients, you'll be one of the first friendly faces they see. Your kindness, professionalism and commitment to exceptional service will play an important part in their care journey.
What you'll be doing
Safely transport patients to and from our Southport clinic using our courtesy vehicle.
Assist patients getting in and out of the vehicle with care and respect.
Plan efficient transport routes to ensure patients arrive on time for treatment.
Build positive relationships with patients, helping them feel comfortable and supported.
Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the courtesy vehicle.
Assist with light duties around the clinic when required.
Work closely with our Patient Services and Nursing teams to deliver an exceptional patient experience.
What we're looking for
You'll be someone who enjoys working with people and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service.
You'll have:
A current Australian Driver's Licence with a good driving record.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A caring, patient-focused approach.
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage your time effectively.
A Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
The ability to work both independently and as part of a supportive team.
