Signage & Design Co-ordinator (Part-Time)

Position Overview

This role supports a major Australian retail giant's Formats and Standards Team. Working hybrid on-site with cross-functional stakeholders, this mid-level role delivers high-quality design guidelines and signage manuals from concept to delivery.

Key Accountabilities

  • Signage Standards: Create, update, and maintain standard internal/external signage plans and manuals using Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Quality Assurance & Advisory: Review manufacturers' drawings/samples to support Procurement, and advise on signage standards for store-specific projects and refurbishments.
  • Design Consultation: Evaluate and consult on new, alternative, or equivalent fixture components and store elements.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Partner with Marketing, Store Development, and external suppliers to ensure artwork and fixtures meet current brand and operational standards.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience: 3–5+ years in Architecture, Interior, Industrial, or Retail Design (retail environment experience highly regarded).
  • Software Proficiency: Advanced Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop); intermediate CAD or Revit proficiency is a strong advantage.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of retail environments, signage systems, brand guidelines, and architectural plans.
  • Project & Stakeholder Management: Excellent organisation and communication skills to coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage multiple priorities, and occasionally lead projects from concept to implementation.
  • Attributes: Highly collaborative, adaptable, solutions-focused, and capable of working autonomously within established brand guidelines.
