About the role

Due to an internal move, we are looking for our next Senior Manager Enterprise Risk & Assurance. Reporting to the Head of Enterprise Risk, you will lead the development and implementation of key policies such as the Risk Management Strategy, Risk Appetite Framework and Controls Framework.

You will collaborate across the Fund to uplift risk culture, challenge control effectiveness and deliver high quality reporting to executives and the Board.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead the development and embed enterprise risk frameworks and key policies including Risk Appetite, Operational Risk and Controls Frameworks
  • Act as a subject matter expert in risk transformation initiatives to uplift risk management capability and culture across the fund
  • Drive uplift of the second line assurance program, providing oversight and reporting to executives and the Board
  • Drive control effectiveness and assurance uplift by supporting control owners, reviewing risk data and promoting a strong risk culture organisation-wide
  • Lead and develop your high-performing team to support across these areas

What will you bring?

  • Experience in a similar Senior Enterprise Risk and Assurance role, within superannuation or financial services
  • Deep expertise in frameworks, governance and prudential standards
  • Proven ability to lead strategic risk initiatives and translate them into operational outcomes that uplift risk maturity and culture
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Demonstrated capability in developing and embedding risk appetite, operational risk and control frameworks, including assurance programs
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
