Sales Consultant

Troocoo are partnering with a well-established name in the retirement living sector, known for delivering outstanding service to Australians navigating their next stage of life. They are currently seeking an experienced Sales Consultant to join their national team until the end of the year.

This is a fast-paced, consumer-facing role where you will be the first point of contact for people enquiring about visiting one of our client's retirement communities. You will manage inbound and outbound enquiries, set appointments to visit centres and work towards specific KPIs.

The Role

As a Sales Consultant, you will be the first point of contact for consumers enquiring about visiting one of our client's communities. You will manage inbound enquiries, work outbound campaigns to set appointments for Sales Consultants, and play a key role in consumer and pipeline management. You will document consumer contact accurately, maximise appointment scheduling opportunities with qualified leads, and work to retain or reschedule cancellations to maximise seen appointment volume.

About You

• Previous sales experience in a contact centre or outbound sales experience preferred.
• Excellent computer skills, with candidates subject to computer based testing.
• Strong understanding of consumer service principles and practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
• Confident overcoming objections, particularly around appointment setting.
• Can do and proactive attitude with the ability to work without direct supervision.
• Persuasive, tenacious and skilled at resolving conflict with internal and external consumers.
• Flexible to work one Saturday every six weeks.

Contract details

• Temporary contract until December.
• Monday to Friday, working one Saturday every six weeks.
• Hybrid role.
• Working holiday visa holders encouraged to apply.
• Hourly rate and commission available.
