Role Description

The Supply Chain Analyst contract role at micro1 is a remote position focused on supporting data-driven decision-making across demand planning, inventory management, and supply chain operations. In this role, the analyst reviews and interprets supply chain data, prepares reports and dashboards, and identifies trends to improve forecasting accuracy and operational efficiency. They collaborate with cross-functional partners to optimize stock levels, monitor key performance indicators, and recommend process improvements that reduce risk and cost. The analyst also communicates findings and insights clearly to stakeholders, supports the implementation of new tools and workflows, and helps ensure alignment between demand, supply, and business goals.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Demand Planning skills, with experience in forecasting, demand analysis, and scenario modeling.
  • Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills, including data interpretation, quantitative analysis, and proficiency with spreadsheets or analytics tools.
  • Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, with the ability to present insights clearly and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Candidates should possess hands-on experience in Supply Chain Operations, including process optimization, performance tracking, and coordination across functions.
  • Candidates should possess expertise in Inventory Management, including monitoring stock levels, setting reorder parameters, and minimizing stockouts or excess inventory.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Familiarity with ERP or supply chain planning systems, and experience with data visualization or business intelligence tools is beneficial.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple priorities, and maintain high attention to detail.
