About the role
The Marketing Operations Specialist supports the delivery of strategic initiatives that enhance capability, productivity, and operational excellence across the Brand and Marketing function. Working closely with the Senior Manager, Marketing Operations Excellence, this role coordinates operational activities, improves processes and systems, and helps drive efficient, consistent, and high-quality execution of marketing priorities. Suited to a collaborative and detail-oriented professional, the role offers an opportunity to learn, adapt, and contribute to a high-performing team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support the delivery of marketing initiatives, ensuring timelines, workflows, and key deliverables are achieved.
- Assist with go-to-market planning and execution, leveraging best-practice frameworks, tools, and processes.
- Drive operational excellence by identifying and supporting process improvements that enhance efficiency and team performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders to support successful campaign delivery and effective ways of working.
- Support governance, risk, and compliance requirements, ensuring marketing activities adhere to established frameworks and regulatory obligations.
- Assist with the implementation and adoption of marketing operations systems, maintaining data accuracy and supporting end users.
- Coordinate capability-building initiatives, including training, tools, and resources that strengthen marketing operations practices.
- Provide budget and administration support, including expenditure tracking, invoicing, purchase orders, and supplier coordination.
- Support the management of external agencies and suppliers, maintaining documentation and monitoring deliverables and performance.
About you
- Experience in marketing operations, project coordination, campaign delivery, or a similar support role.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with a collaborative approach.
- Familiarity with marketing systems, workflows, and governance processes.
- Understanding of risk, compliance, and regulatory requirements within a marketing environment is desirable.
