We are currently seeking an experienced

Electrical Supervisor to join a major underground mining operation, providing leadership across electrical maintenance, infrastructure and project activities.

This role is ideal for a hands-on supervisor with strong underground hard rock mining experience who can lead crews, coordinate contractors and ensure electrical work is delivered safely and efficiently within an operational mining environment.

The Opportunity

Working as part of the site leadership team, you will supervise electrical personnel and contractors across underground and surface infrastructure while ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, site standards and project schedules.

You will work closely with Operations, Maintenance and Engineering teams to safely deliver planned works and support ongoing improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise electrical trades and contractors across underground and infrastructure works
• Coordinate daily and weekly work activities to achieve maintenance and project objectives
• Ensure all electrical work is completed safely and in accordance with statutory regulations and site procedures
• Drive compliance with safety, quality and environmental standards
• Manage work priorities, shutdowns and planned maintenance activities
• Support fault finding, troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives
• Conduct pre-start meetings, toolbox talks and safety interactions
• Liaise with Operations, Engineering and Project teams to minimise production impacts
• Mentor and develop electrical personnel while promoting a positive team culture
• Ensure accurate completion of maintenance documentation and reporting

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• Demonstrated experience supervising electrical teams within an underground hard rock mining environment
• Strong knowledge of underground electrical infrastructure and mining operations
• Experience managing contractors and coordinating maintenance or project activities
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary mining team
• Current Electrical Trade Qualification
• Current Electrical Licence
• Supervisory experience within mining is essential
