About the role
As our new General Manager, Planning to Performance, you’ll lead the Planning to Performance and Product function within our Member Experience division, Reporting to the Chief Member Officer.
Your mission? To translate strategy into measurable outcomes, strengthen product stewardship, and provide clear line of sight from divisional priorities through to delivery, performance, governance, risk and assurance.
In this role you will:
- Lead the Planning to Performance function across strategy, planning, performance, governance, first-line risk and product stewardship.
- Lead Product Strategy in line with the overarching MX Strategy. Providing oversight of product-related decision-making, ensuring appropriate consideration of member outcomes, risk, compliance and operational feasibility
- Translate divisional and enterprise priorities into clear plans, reporting rhythms, governance mechanisms and measurable outcomes.
- Oversee product governance, assurance and product risk frameworks, ensuring decisions are aligned to member outcomes, regulatory expectations and operational feasibility.
- Partner with GM peers and enterprise stakeholders to align strategy, product priorities, delivery sequencing and investment decisions.
- Drive evidence-based decision-making by turning data, insights, product information and operational performance into clear actions and decisions.
What we’re looking for
We’re on the lookout for a strategic, commercially minded senior leader who can bring structure, discipline and clarity to complex work. You’ll be comfortable leading through ambiguity, influencing across a diverse stakeholder group, while connecting strategy, product and performance outcomes to meaningful member impact.
You’ll thrive in this role if you have:
- Significant senior leadership experience across strategy, planning, business performance, product management, governance or risk.
- Strong strategic and commercial acumen, with the ability to connect planning and product activity to business performance and member outcomes.
- Experience in product governance, product risk, assurance or product lifecycle management within a regulated environment.
- Experience in a similar role within Superannuation or financial services
- Strong analytical capability and confidence translating data and insights into clear recommendations, actions and decisions.
- Highly developed stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills across complex environments.
- A relevant tertiary qualification in business, commerce, finance, strategy or a related discipline; would be highly regarded.
