Electrical Crane Technician

• $80.00 - $100.00 per hour + Penalties

WorkPac are currently seeking experienced Electrical Crane Technicians for FIFO opportunities across the Pilbara. This role involves supporting servicing, repairs, maintenance scopes, and shutdowns on a range of crane equipment, with assignments typically ranging from 2 to 10 days.

About Our Client

Our client is a leading provider of crane maintenance and lifting solutions, delivering specialised electrical services across the mining, resources, and industrial sectors. With a strong reputation for safety, reliability, and technical expertise, they support clients throughout regional Western Australia with planned maintenance, shutdowns, and emergency breakdown services.

What You Will Be Doing

• Completing electrical servicing, repairs, fault finding, and maintenance on overhead and mobile crane systems
• Supporting planned shutdowns, breakdowns, inspections, and ad-hoc maintenance scopes across multiple Pilbara sites
• Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults while ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently
• Maintaining accurate service records and complying with all site safety and quality procedures

What You Will Need

• Previous experience as an Electrical Crane Technician (essential)
• Crane Ticket
• Current WA Electrical Licence
• Current Driver's Licence
• White Card
• EWP
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Ability to travel for regional FIFO assignments ranging from 2 to 10 days
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
