Your new role

As a trusted advisor to operational and site leaders, you will support a diverse workforce across manufacturing, warehousing and distribution environments, helping leaders navigate both day to day people matters and broader business initiatives. This is a true business partnering role, offering a mix of strategic influence and hands on involvement.

  • Partnering with leaders to provide coaching, advice and practical HR solutions
  • Providing expert guidance across employee relations, investigations, performance management and workplace matters
  • Driving employee engagement, retention and culture initiatives
  • Supporting workforce planning, organisational change and capability development
  • Leading recruitment and onboarding activities for operational teams
  • Partnering with leaders to develop talent and succession plans
  • Interpreting Enterprise Agreements, Awards and employment legislation
  • Using workforce data and insights to identify trends and support business decisions
  • Contributing to People & Culture projects that enhance the employee experience and strengthen organisational capability

What you'll need to succeed

You'll be an approachable, commercially minded HR professional who enjoys building relationships and influencing leaders within fast paced operational environments.

  • 5+ years' experience in a HR / P&C Business Partner or HR Generalist role
  • Previous experience within FMCG, manufacturing, logistics, supply chain or a similar blue collar environment
  • Strong experience managing employee relations matters, investigations and performance management processes
  • Sound knowledge of Enterprise Agreements, Awards and employment legislation
  • Experience partnering with operational leaders and large workforce populations
  • A passion for building leadership capability, employee engagement and a positive workplace culture
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • A proactive, solutions focused approach and the ability to balance competing priorities
