The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Property Legal Assistant, to join our Perth Property team on a full-time or part-time (3 to 4 days per week) basis.

As an experienced Legal Assistant, you will display initiative, professionalism and high attention to detail with experience ideally within a Property Law practice group.

Responsibilities will include the following:

  • Assisting in the preparation and finalisation of legal documents;
  • File opening and management;
  • Monthly invoicing;
  • Coordinating team meetings/events;
  • Mail merging documents and formatting; and
  • Diary management.

Who We Are Looking For

Working for a busy Partner and 2 Special Counsel, and assisting a senior legal assistant, the ideal candidate will have 2+ years’ experience working in a law firm, preferably in a property law environment.

The role will require the candidate to proactively manage workflow, with an emphasis on organisational skills to manage incoming work, delegate tasks, and process work effectively.

Excellent communication and time management skills, with a client service focus are essential, as well as the ability to work in a team and follow directions. You will have the ability to prioritise tasks, display initiative, have good attention to detail and a proven history of meeting deadlines. The role will require the candidate to proactively manage workflow, with an emphasis on organisational skills to manage incoming work and process work effectively.
