We've launched our first in-house Health Insurance sales team and are looking for an experienced Team Leader to help shape what great looks like from day one.

This is more than a leadership role. It's an opportunity to build a high-performing team, influence how we coach, sell and support our customers, and create a culture people genuinely want to be part of.

You'll combine hands-on sales with coaching and leadership, working alongside your team while helping establish the processes, standards and ways of working that will underpin our future growth.

What you'll be doing

  • Lead from the front by coaching, mentoring and selling alongside your team.
  • Drive sales performance, customer outcomes and quality through data-led coaching and regular one-on-one development.
  • Monitor team performance across conversion, contact rates, quality assurance and customer experience.
  • Build a high-performing, customer-first culture focused on accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, productivity and operational efficiency.
  • Own quality assurance standards and proactively manage compliance risks.
  • Monitor lead volumes and team capacity, escalating operational risks where required.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding and workforce planning as the team continues to grow.

What you'll bring

  • Proven experience leading a health insurance sales team.
  • A track record of coaching high-performing sales teams and developing capability through data and performance insights.
  • Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • The ability to build new processes and embed effective ways of working in a growing team.
  • A collaborative, customer-first mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.

Highly Regarded

  • Experience across general insurance, life insurance, energy or other regulated industries.
  • Experience using CRM and contact centre platforms such as Zoho, AWS Connect or Twilio.
