Our Business

Brisbane City Council is one of Australia's largest local governments, supporting a growing city through essential services, infrastructure and technology.

As Brisbane prepares for unprecedented growth and the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games, Council is investing heavily in the technology, security and digital capability that will support the city's future. Information Services Branch is at the centre of this transformation, delivering the modern platforms, services and infrastructure that enable Council to operate at scale.

Our Branch

The Secured Networks team is responsible for the network and security infrastructure that underpins Council's operations across hundreds of sites throughout Brisbane. From libraries and bus depots to corporate facilities and critical operational locations, we design, support and secure the technology that keeps Council connected.

Our team includes specialists across network operations, cyber security, monitoring and configuration management. As we expand our cloud capability, strengthen cyber security resilience and increase automation, we're investing heavily in both technology and people.
