We're looking for an experienced People & Performance Business Partner to join our People, Performance & Safety team. This is an opportunity to partner with leaders across a diverse operational workforce, influence business outcomes, and help create an engaging, high-performing workplace where our people can thrive.

What You Will be Doing

As a trusted advisor to operational leaders, you'll partner with stakeholders across the organisation to deliver practical people solutions that support business performance.

Your role will include:

  • Partnering with leaders to strengthen capability and improve team performance
  • Coaching managers through performance, conduct, employee relations and workplace investigations
  • Providing expert advice on employment legislation, awards and organisational policies
  • Supporting organisational change, restructures and workforce planning initiatives
  • Building leadership capability through coaching, feedback and contemporary people practices
  • Using workforce data and insights to identify trends and improve decision-making
  • Supporting initiatives that enhance employee engagement, wellbeing and organisational culture
  • Contributing to continuous improvement across People & Performance programs and practices

About You

You're an experienced HR professional who enjoys working alongside leaders to solve problems, build capability and create positive workplace experiences.

You'll bring:

  • Experience as an HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor within a complex operational environment
  • Strong employee relations experience, including performance management, investigations and case management
  • Demonstrated experience coaching leaders and influencing decision-making
  • Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation, industrial instruments and HR best practice
  • Experience supporting organisational change and workforce planning
  • The ability to analyse workforce data and translate insights into practical recommendations
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business or a related discipline

Experience supporting geographically dispersed workforces will be highly regarded.
