About Your Role

We are currently seeking an energetic & high performing

Procurement Team Lead to join our close-knit team, located at our Broadmeadow Maintenance Facility.

  • Leading and developing a procurement team.
  • Driving procurement strategy and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Managing supplier relationships and contract negotiations.
  • Overseeing sourcing, purchasing and inventory management activities.
  • Partnering with key stakeholders to deliver cost-effective procurement solutions.
  • Monitoring procurement performance, compliance and governance requirements

About You

  • Previous procurement or supply chain experience, including leadership responsibilities.
  • Strong supplier management and contract negotiation skills.
  • Experience within manufacturing, engineering, transport or related industries.
  • Commercial acumen with a focus on cost optimisation and process improvement.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Experience with procurement systems and ERP platforms.
  • Strong skills in verifying and validating purchase orders
  • Proficient in supplier management, including expediting/rescheduling, managing DIFOT performance, and conducting audits
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field
  • Professional certifications in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CIPS or equivalent)
