This civil construction contractor are delivering quality infrastructure projects across regional NSW. They deliver projects on behalf of public and private sector clients, including state infrastructure, mining and residential development projects.

They are a trusted regional contractor known for reliable delivery, clear communication and strong safety outcomes. The business is continuing to expand and as such, are looking for competent site based Project Engineer to join their team.

About The Role

The Project Engineer will play a key role in the successful delivery of civil construction projects. The role offers the opportunity to take ownership of projects from early stages through to completion. You will work closely with the Site Manager and be actively involved in project programming, client coordination and day-to-day execution.

This role will suit an engineer who enjoys being hands-on, enjoys being out on site, takes pride in delivering results and thrives in a collaborative, fast paced construction environment.

Key Responsibilties

Develop cost effective engineering solutions for the project/contract. Review project/contract documentation and raise technical queries as required

Provide engineering/technical advice to on-site Supervisors and other staff involved in the project

Assist with planning and scheduling the scope of work for the project and organise project resources and equipment

Identify hazards and advise on safety procedures

Key Requirements

Extensive experience working on large scale civil construction projects

Tertiary Qualifications In a Relevant Discipline (Civil)

A methodical approach, high attention to detail and take responsibility for the quality and accuracy of work

Be delivery focused with a high level of self motivation and drive to support the project in delivering to a tight schedule

Candidates must have Australian Permanent Residency/Citizenship, no sponsorship offered.

Candidates will be based on site in Central West NSW full time so will need to be based in this area full time.
