You will help develop and embed a proactive, intelligence-led risk management framework that enables the bank to achieve its goals safely and soundly.

- Developing and implementing the strategic direction for financial crime risk management.
- Providing expert advice and effective challenge to the first line of accountability to uplift our overall financial crime risk management maturity.
- Leading, mentoring, and inspiring a team of dedicated risk professionals.
- Driving a culture of continuous improvement and proactive risk identification.
About the Role
The Senior Manager Financial Crime Regulatory Change reports to Head of Financial Crime Transformation.
- designing, delivering, and overseeing large-scale, multi-year, or complex financial crime change initiatives related to regulatory change
- as a subject matter expert this role will identify, understand and interpret all applicable financial crime requirements and obligations (e.g. legislative, regulator expectations, international guidance) as well as international and domestic best practices in financial crime mitigation.
- defining, building and delivering a multi-year financial crime regulatory change roadmap, this role will consolidate all in-flight and planned financial crime initiatives related to regulatory change.
- ensure that all initiatives within the consolidated Financial Crime Transformation Program (FCTP) are compliant with all applicable financial crime requirements and obligations
- With a thorough understanding of all regulatory change transformation initiatives, the role is responsible for financial crime transformation reporting relating to regulatory change (both internal and external) and will develop high-quality reports
- ensure that all financial crime transformation initiatives related to regulatory change align with the Bank’s financial crime risk appetite and the clear alignment to the Bank’s approved strategy, also ensuring that monitoring and reporting of RAS in relating to financial crime transformation is accurate and timely.
What you’ll bring to the role
- Extensive financial crime experience in the banking industry with diverse and deep knowledge of a bank’s financial crime environment.
- Extensive experience in organisation resilience and business continuity.
- Experience in guiding and overseeing financial crime risk in change.
- Strong level of experience in continuous improvement across financial crime risk management, including risk management systems.
- Highly effective engagement and leadership skills with ability to aggressively lead and drive change at all levels.
- Ability to build a high performing culture which encourages recognition and inspires diversity of thought.
- Able to navigate and deliver on business outcomes, while being comfortable with ambiguity.
- Preferred - Tertiary qualification in a relevant field.
- Preferred - Financial Crime Industry qualification preferred such as ACAMS, AFCS.
