About The Role

We are looking for an experienced Estimator to join our passionate and vibrant technical team at Buildsafe. Reporting into the Estimating Team Leader, you will work alongside a team of experts to prepare cost estimates in a timely manner.

Other Key Functions Of The Role

  • Develop and provide accurate quotes, identifying the labour, material and time required for each job;
  • Assist in Purchase Order entry, ensuring correct allowances and rates are applied;
  • Use computer software to measure specific safety products and scaffolding;
  • Provide expert advice to builders, carpenters and other clientele to determine their safety needs;
  • Generate and prepare reports when required.

About You

  • Thorough understanding of residential construction plans
  • Proven communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Have the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
  • Consistently be able to meet deadlines and prioritise tasks
  • Have an eye for detail
  • Intermediate computer skills – Microsoft Suite & CRM
  • A trade or estimating qualification/experience
  • Previous experience in scaffolding/safety solutions costing (advantageous but not essential)
