Area Director (SAPA) - Remote

On behalf of our brand owner Zamora Company, we are seeking an experienced Area Director to implement a local commercial and marketing strategy, aligned with global guidelines, across the South Asia Pacific region.

This Role Will Focus Mainly On

  • Full P&L management of South Asia Pacific Wine and Spirit Business
  • Increase internal and external capabilities to drive success
  • Deliver short term results, while optimizing strategy for long term brand health

Main Responsibilities

  • P&L South Asia Pacific Wines & Spirit
  • Portfolio Management: Steering Portfolio focus across internal stakeholders and towards distribution partners to deliver on brand and business KPIs
  • Collaborating closely with internal Marketing and Financial department
  • Lead local commercial & marketing strategy in line with global guidelines to ensure profitable growth
  • Managing third party distributors relationships and consistently improving joint capabilities.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports for the Cluster and business activity reports

Requirements & Skills

  • >10 years sales / marketing experience in senior management roles in the beverage industry
  • Deep understanding of Off and On Trade
  • Has managed similar size or bigger Business and A&P funds
  • Senior level negotiator who can protect company interests and understand creating win-win solutions with customers
  • High resilience and leadership skills, also in crisis environment
  • Analytical strength: combining data interpretation (Nielsen, CRM, Market research) and business understanding to drive strategic decision
  • Team player who can work in collaboration with a team but also take leadership and accountability when needed
  • Proficiency in English language
  • Ability to travel internationally across South Asia and Pacific countries
