  • Define and lead the engineering vision, roadmap and technical strategy for AGL’s digital platforms and capabilities.
  • Provide thought leadership across the engineering community, driving adoption of modern technologies, tools, frameworks and development practices.
  • Establish engineering standards, patterns, guardrails and governance to ensure high-quality, scalable and maintainable digital solutions.
  • Drive reuse of architectural components and promote consistent engineering practices across the technology stack.
  • Lead and grow digital engineering capability through mentoring, coaching and upskilling agile delivery teams.
  • Own and evolve CI/CD practices in partnership with DevOps and delivery teams, supporting reliable and seamless deployments.
  • Partner with business stakeholders and technology teams to identify and deliver innovative digital capabilities that support AGL’s strategic goals.
  • Support the resolution of complex production issues and provide technical leadership across critical digital services.

  • Experience leading engineering teams and technical delivery within large-scale digital environments.
  • Strong expertise working in mature CI/CD and DevOps environments.
  • Experience operating in agile delivery models and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • A solid understanding of software engineering principles, architecture, development standards and quality practices.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and translate technical concepts into business outcomes.
