Gateway Health is a not-for-profit community health service delivering primary health and welfare services to individuals, families, and communities across Northeast Victoria and parts of Southern New South Wales. About the Role
This is a rewarding part-time opportunity (60.8 hours per fortnight) based in Wangaratta. You will be responsible for leading the effective administration, co-ordination, and delivery of the Active Rural Communities program including direct line management of Allied Health Assistants and administration and intake team as well as coordination of volunteers. A key part of the role is ongoing review and development of the program and intake processes, in line with current evidence and best practice.
This role is classified under the Allied Health Professionals Victoria Community Health Centres Multi Employer Enterprise Agreement 2022 - 2026 Grade 2 ($49.38 - $56.79 + superannuation)
Skills & Experience
To thrive in this role, you'll bring:
- Tertiary qualification in Allied Health, welfare or a related discipline; a qualification in Physiotherapy is desirable
- Demonstrated leadership skills and experience in direct line management of a small team
- Experience co-ordinating community group activities and programs with skills in program development, facilitation and evaluation of meeting activity targets
- Experience supporting older people and/or people with disability using a client-centred approach.
