Oral Health Victoria is the leading public oral health agency in Victoria. Our aim is to improve the oral health of all Victorians, particularly vulnerable groups and those most in need. We provide Victorians with quality oral health care through the Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne and work collaboratively with our partners to deliver oral health programs to benefit all Victorians.

Position Purpose

The Statewide Systems Analyst plays a critical role in supporting and administering statewide systems, such as Electronic Oral Health Record (EoHR), Vendor Neutral Archive (VNA), and legacy Titanium platform. This role ensures technical subject matter expert support, system configuration, issue resolution, and project expertise participation across the statewide system team. The position is integral to maintaining operational continuity, enhancing user experience, and supporting OHV’s statewide system services.

Role Accountabilities

Role Specific

  • Be the point of contact between vendors and OHV regarding the resolution of system issues ensuring functional maintenance of the systems is maintained
  • Provide application functional support to staff and team ensuring calls regarding issues and enquiries are tracked and managed through to completion. This includes coordinating problem resolution and liaising with staff and external providers on actions and outcomes.
  • Coordinate, schedule and manage system maintenance, upgrades and optimisation in accordance with Change Management processes.
  • Evaluate software, hardware and consulting services and contracts ensuring that all systems under the remit of the SwS team are supported by maintenance agreements and have been appropriately licensed

You will have

  • Tertiary Qualification in Computer Science or Information Technology degree or in a relevant field.
  • Awareness of DHS clinical and reporting requirements
  • Exceptional customer relationships skills
  • Experience providing clinical application systems and hardware support and analysis
  • Experience conducting hardware and software testing\validation of clinical technology and solutions.
  • Able to translate technical requirements into common language
