What you’ll do:

  • Interpret global and local policies, risk questionnaires, risk pathways, controls, decisioning criteria and approval requirements across the client engagement lifecycle, identifying duplication, complexity, control inefficiencies and opportunities to simplify and optimise risk outcomes

  • Analyse risk assessment requirements, risk decision criteria and governance obligations to support the design of fit-for-purpose risk pathways aligned to risk appetite and compliance requirements.

  • Partner with risk, compliance and business stakeholders to document, validate and translate risk requirements into clear business rules, process requirements and future-state designs.

  • Support the development of future-state risk assessment models, decision trees, routing pathways and risk governance frameworks that improve efficiency while maintaining appropriate risk oversight.

  • Assess opportunities to standardise risk data inputs, simplify questionnaires and reduce unnecessary review activities through a more proportionate risk-based approach.

  • Support testing, validation and implementation activities to ensure redesigned risk assessment processes operate effectively and achieve intended business and risk outcomes.

  • Prepare analysis papers, business requirements, risk documentation and supporting materials to enable successful implementation of future-state risk assessment processes.

What we’re looking for:

Core skills

  • Proven experience delivering business transformation, process improvement or risk-related change initiatives within complex stakeholder environments.

  • Experience interpreting policy, risk and compliance requirements and translating them into business requirements, controls, governance processes and future-state designs.

  • Demonstrated ability to engage senior executives, business stakeholders, risk and compliance teams, building trusted relationships and driving alignment across diverse groups.

  • Strong experience in process mapping and re-designing customer onboarding risk workflows.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify themes, dependencies, risks, control gaps and improvement opportunities across processes, systems and stakeholder feedback.
