Development Contributions Coordinator

The Opportunity
Are you ready to play a key role in shaping the future of our region? We're excited to offer a 5-year fixed-term position within our Land Use Planning team for a Development Contributions Coordinator. This position supports the delivery of infrastructure that meets community needs by overseeing the development, implementation, and management of contribution plans.
In this role, you will be responsible for the development and review of contribution plans that align with Council's strategic goals and plans. You will also provide financial oversight, monitor the collection and expenditure of contributions, and ensure reporting and legislative compliance.
To succeed in this role, you'll bring qualifications in project management, commerce, asset accounting or a related field-or equivalent local government experience. You'll be detail-oriented with strong financial, administrative, and analytical skills. Your ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and navigate complex legislative requirements will ensure your success in delivering high-impact outcomes for our growing region.
Salary: Salary range $113,094.76 - $125,818.08 p.a. plus superannuation (negotiable based on skills and experience).
Location: This position will be based at our Administration Centre in Yalawanyi Ganya at 2 Biripi Way, Taree. You may also be required to be based from other Council sites across the MidCoast Council region.
Tenure: 5 year fixed-term, full-time 35 hours per week.
