Join our Shared Services IT team and be the first line of support that keeps our business connected. In this fast paced Help Desk role, you'll provide technical support to users across all ISGroup entities, resolving IT issues via phone, email, and messaging. You'll troubleshoot hardware, mobile devices, software, and business applications while delivering exceptional customer service. Reporting to the Group IT Help Desk Team Leader, you'll be part of a collaborative team providing extended-hours support across Eastern States and Western Australia. Occasional interstate travel offers the opportunity to connect with teams across our national network.

Your day-to-day responsibilities

  • Provide Level 1 and Level 2 IT support, troubleshooting hardware, software, operating systems, mobile devices, and business applications while delivering excellent customer service.
  • Support and administer Microsoft technologies, including Azure, Microsoft 365 (Teams, Exchange, SharePoint, Office), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), desktop imaging, and Windows operating systems.
  • Assist with IT infrastructure and security, including firewall monitoring, advanced threat protection, system installations, data recovery, backups, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Manage support requests through the IT service management system, ensuring accurate documentation, timely resolution, compliance with service level agreements, and maintenance of knowledge base documentation.
  • Collaborate with the wider IT team on projects, build strong relationships across the business, and maintain a safe, professional, and customer-focused working environment.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Experience in helpdesk and technical support roles, providing effective troubleshooting and user assistance.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic networking concepts.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of IT security practices and commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Completed secondary education with a Diploma/Certificate IV qualification in a related IT field.
