About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Product Developer to join our buying team. You will support the delivery of innovative, trend-driven, and commercially successful collections. Working closely with the wider product team, you will play a key role in bringing high-quality products to market, ensuring excellence across every stage of the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of seasonal homewares and furniture collections, aligned with brand vision and commercial strategy
- Analyse competitor activity and global home and lifestyle trends to inform product direction and identify opportunities
- Assist with product selection, pricing strategy, margin analysis, and sales performance reporting
- Maintain accurate and timely product data across all categories
- Coordinate end-to-end product development, from purchase order through to shipment samples, ensuring critical path deadlines are met
- Manage supplier communication across product specifications, materials, finishes, sampling, costings, packaging, and delivery schedules
- Partner with cross-functional teams including Marketing, VM & Retail to ensure seamless product execution
- Uphold brand standards by ensuring all products meet quality, compliance, and performance expectations
- Provide ongoing support to the purchasing team and contribute to a high-performing environment
About You
- Previous experience in a product development role within retail homewares (2-3yrs)
- Tertiary qualifications in a business-related discipline highly regarded
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong commercial acumen and analytical capability
- Exceptional attention to detail, troubleshooting ability and commitment to quality
- Confident communicator with the ability to build strong supplier and stakeholder relationships
- Passion for homewares & furniture with a strong awareness of global trends
- Advanced user of Microsoft Excel and internal systems
