Synergie are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Carpenter to assist leave coverage assignment in Melbourne CBD. This is a temporary 12-week assignment working Monday to Friday, offering $40-$45 per hour, benefits and a supportive team environment.

About the Role

Working within a small, close-knit team, you will report directly to the Hotel Manager and play a key role in daily general repairs within a Prestidge hotel.

The Important Parts

• 12-week fixed term assignment
• Consistent day shift hours – flexible with start times between 6-8am
• Supportive and friendly team culture

• Subsided parking or 2-minute walk from station
• Daily meals provided
• Uniform & Laundry provided

What you will be required to do

• General furniture repairs
• Repairing woodwork – doors & skirting
• Wall patching/plastering and minimal painting
• Repairing bedhead & replacing wheels on trolleys

T o be successful in the role you will:

• Hold either a certificate 3 in Carpentry or Diploma in Carpentry
• Have some experience working within the qualification
• Available for 12 weeks, commencing end of July
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills and attention to detail
