Synergie Australia is seeking a Personal Banking Advisor (Casual) for a trusted client located in Waurn Ponds.

The important parts:

• Pay: Competitive casual hourly rate + Super

• Hours: Casual position – 20 hours per week | 4 days per week (5 hours per day)

• Location: Home Branch – Waurn Ponds | Relief coverage across Geelong, Geelong West and Ocean Grove branches

As the first point of contact within the branch, you will deliver exceptional customer experiences while identifying opportunities to support customers with their banking needs.

• Welcoming customers into the branch and providing outstanding customer service

• Engaging in meaningful conversations to understand customers’ financial goals and needs

• Recommending suitable banking products and services

• Supporting customers both in person and over the phone

• Working towards individual sales and referral targets

• Processing daily banking transactions, including cash handling

• Building and maintaining strong customer relationships

• Referring customers to specialist banking teams when required

• Providing flexible support across Waurn Ponds, Geelong, Geelong West and Ocean Grove branches

To be successful in the role you will:

• Experience in customer service and/or sales within a customer-facing or phone-based environment

• Confidence working towards sales and referral targets

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

• Resilience and the ability to manage challenging customer situations professionally

• Good numerical skills and attention to detail when handling financial transactions

• A proactive and energetic approach with a passion for helping customers

• Adaptability and willingness to learn new systems, technologies and banking processes
