The City of Bunbury has an exciting opportunity within the Assets Team as an Asset Management Finance and Insurance Officer for a 12-month maximum term contract.

We are looking for a team member who is self-motivated to undertake a variety of tasks relating to Infrastructure asset accounting, data management and systems and will coordinate the City's insurance management activities.
You will be working within a team environment ensuring accurate financial reporting of assets and providing a timely response to asset insurance requirements.
You don't need to have worked in Local Government, but you do need to have exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail and have the ability to communicate effectively.
Ideally you will have completed (or made significant progression towards) a Diploma in Accounting or Asset Management and/or have substantial relevant experience in infrastructure financial management.
What we offer you
Conditions of employment are in accordance with the City of Bunbury Employee's 2024 Enterprise Agreement with Level 5 or Level 6 salary of $96,705 or $105,044 gross per annum depending on qualifications and experience.
