Locksmith - Workshop Manager

Jim Roberts Locksmiths is a Townsville based Locksmithing company that specialises in all fields of locksmithing & electronic security. We are seeking a Workshop Manager to join our management team.

This position requires the Monday to Friday management of a dedicated team that services the company’s fast paced retail and trade sales, automotive locksmithing & special keying department.

There will be a 4 to 6 month transition training system provided for the successful applicant.

This is a salary position; the successful applicant will be offered an above award package based on their current experience & their future management position. You will be employed under the company’s current EBA which allows for all modern day entitlements.

Basic Requirements

• Qld Security Licence
• Experience in the Locksmithing Industry
• Excellent customer service skills & communication skills.
• Ability to train others
• QLD Manual Drivers Licence
• A Team Player willing to learn & implement new technology within the industry & company.
• Willing & able to follow and implement company policies & procedures.

Technical Requirements

• Experience with Promaster PM8 Master Keying Program
• Experience with Cloning & Diagnostic Automotive Work
• Experience in Retail Counter Sales
• Computer Skills
