Overview

The Golf International Sales Manager drives commercial execution across Asia Pacific and the Middle East, translating global golf strategy into disciplined regional execution and profitable growth. The role is accountable for sales performance, distribution strength, pipeline growth, forecast accuracy, customer engagement, and building a high-performing regional team.

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with the Golf Strategic Business Unit to align on strategic initiatives, marketing programs, product strategy, and evolving customer needs.
  • Set territory direction into clear execution plans, operating priorities, and measurable growth objectives.
  • Deliver strong sales performance across products and services while improving market share and overall commercial execution.
  • Drive pipeline rigor, forecast accuracy, CRM discipline, and sales planning cadence, using data and analysis to inform business decisions.
  • Lead project and opportunity management, including prioritization, and conversion.
  • Hold distributors accountable for market coverage and performance; implement actions to strengthen distribution across the territory.
  • Develop and execute targeted sales strategies and programs to accelerate growth and strengthen competitiveness.
  • Recruit, lead, coach, and develop the regional Golf Sales Team, with a strong emphasis on employee development and succession planning.
  • Align field resources to high-value opportunities and stay closely engaged with distributors and golf courses to drive future growth.
  • Strengthen specification activity and build relationships with key golf industry influencers.
  • Represent the voice of the customer to Rain Bird International leadership.
  • 50% of traveling

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education BA degree
  • Proven success leading international sales teams in Asia Pacific.
  • 10+ years in technical sales leadership, distribution, and large project sales.
  • Aptitude for quantitative analysis, strategic and tactical thinking, and detailed planning
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in both verbal and written form
  • Fluency in English

Desired Qualifications

  • MBA degree or equivalent business experience.
  • Knowledge of the golf irrigation industry a plus
