The need-to-know…

Rise is seeking Casual Support Workers to join our Aged Care Community Team, supporting older people to remain independent and living safely in their own homes. In this role, you will provide in-home support to clients, assist with activities of daily living, promote independence and social connection, and undertake general domestic assistance where required.

We are seeking reliable casual staff with weekday daytime availability to support services across the following areas:

  • Area 1: Midland, Mundaring and surrounding suburbs
  • Area 2: Dayton and surrounding suburbs
  • Area 3: Forrestfield and surrounding suburbs
  • Area 4: Serpentine, Kelmscott and surrounding suburbs

To meet service demands, applicants must be available during peak leave periods, including school holidays, Easter and Christmas/New Year periods. Casual employees should also be prepared to receive early morning calls for same-day service cover, with shifts commencing from 6:30am onwards.

Important: This is a community-based Aged Care role that requires travelling between multiple client homes throughout each shift. Applicants must be willing and able to undertake daily travel as an essential requirement of the role.

The need-to-have…

Here At Rise, We Nurture Potential, But We Do Need You To Have a Few Tricks Up Your Sleeve Including The Following

  • Certificate III (Community Services) and/or related qualification with experience in aged care support work
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with people who are aged
  • Ability to bend, kneel and lift correctly to complete duties safely
  • Driving licence and reliable vehicle to use for work purposes
  • First aid certificates (HLTAID009 & HLTAID010) or willingness to obtain

Formalities (The serious stuff!)

Appointments to this position will be subject to a national police clearance. Costs for new checks will be covered and/or reimbursed by Rise.
