Project Manager (Civil)

Our client is an established private property developer with a significant pipeline of residential and mixed-use developments across Melbourne.

They are seeking a civil infrastructure specialist to join their Project Management team, taking ownership of the design and delivery of civil infrastructure across a portfolio of complex developments.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to transition into a client-side environment while gaining exposure to the broader development lifecycle.

The Role

Working within a collaborative Project Management team, you will oversee the planning, design and delivery of civil infrastructure from concept through to completion. Working closely with Development Managers, consultants and contractors, you will ensure projects are delivered within time, cost and quality milestones.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing the delivery of civil infrastructure, enabling works and external works packages.
• Coordinating design consultants, contractors, servicing authorities and key project stakeholders.
• Managing procurement activities including tendering, contractor engagement and contract administration.
• Monitoring programme, budget, quality and construction progress throughout delivery.
• Preparing project reporting and providing regular updates to internal stakeholders.

About You

This role will suit an experienced Civil Engineer or Project Manager with experience delivering civil infrastructure within a consulting, contracting or client-side environment.

You will also demonstrate:

• A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• High-level technical capability across civil infrastructure projects.
• Strong consultant and contractor management skills.
• Exposure to procurement, contract administration and project delivery.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong commercial judgement and a proactive approach to problem solving.
