KSEC Australia is a Melbourne-based security company providing professional security services across Victoria, Queensland and New South Wales. With over 14 years of industry experience, we work across a range of sectors including construction, commercial, education, facilities management, government, events, gatehouse security, mobile patrols and asset protection.
As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Marketing Business Development Manager to help drive our next stage of expansion.
Role Description
This is a part-time role based in Melbourne, VIC, with flexible working arrangements. The role is initially 8–10 hours per week, with the opportunity for ongoing engagement based on performance and business growth.
This is not an entry-level business development role. We are looking for someone who already has an established industry network and can open doors to new business opportunities from day one.
The successful candidate will be responsible for introducing KSEC Australia to potential clients, building relationships with decision-makers, identifying new business opportunities, attending networking events, and supporting the growth of KSEC Australia's client base.
Key Responsibilities
• Leverage existing industry connections to generate new business opportunities.
• Introduce KSEC Australia to decision-makers across relevant sectors.
• Build and maintain relationships with prospective clients.
• Identify opportunities across construction, commercial, education, facilities management, government and events.
• Work with the KSEC team to support proposals, quotations and client onboarding.
• Provide regular updates on leads, opportunities and business development activity.
Qualifications
• Proven experience in business development, sales, partnerships or client relationship management.
• Established industry network and existing business connections.
• Strong communication, networking and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to generate genuine business opportunities from day one.
• Confidence speaking with decision-makers and representing the company professionally.
• Experience in security, construction, facilities management, commercial property, education, government or events will be highly regarded.
• Must be currently based in Australia.
What We Offer
• $50–$60 per hour, depending on experience.
