Senior Architectural Technician - Secure Environments & Residential
We are looking to expand our team of talented and dedicated people to collaborate on projects throughout Australia. We are seeking Senior Architectural Technicians to join our Secure Environments and Residential Sectors in a full time, permanent capacity.
Skills & Experience
Senior Architectural Technicians work with their allocated manager and under the direction of the National and State Leads, requiring close working relationships with their project team at MODE to deliver high quality design, documentation and construction outcomes. They will collaborate with their team in a highly effective manner which includes mentoring and overviewing junior staff as appropriate to meet deadlines and project requirements.
Profile and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have:
- Relevant Qualifications: A recognised qualification relating to technical BIM drafting / documentation with strong design, documentation, and construction knowledge.
- Industry and Technical Expertise: Minimum 5 years' experience in the relevant sector/industry, with demonstrated expertise in design documentation, construction documentation and project delivery.
- Advanced BIM capability and Documentation Excellence: Advanced Revit and BIM proficiency with the ability to deliver coordinated, high-quality project documentation and support design ream leadership.
- Project and Consultant Coordination Skills: Demonstrated project management experience with a strong ability to manage multiple tasks, facilitate project coordination, and coordinate sub-consultant inputs.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Relationship Management: Good client relationship management skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work constructively with internal and external project stakeholders.
- Personal Drive, Judgement and Professionalism: A self-motivated, results-driven, and solutions-focused approach with strong judgement and reasoning, and a commitment to exceeding client expectations.
You will be able to:
- Deliver Design and Documentation Excellence: Prepare and deliver compliant, high-quality designs and documentation, integrating innovative solutions and supporting planning, building, and construction processes. Assist with leadership of design and documentation teams while ensuring compliance with regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Drive Project Performance and Quality Outcomes: Support project leaders to achieve time, cost, and quality goals while coordinating stakeholders, ensuring quality standards, mentoring staff, and contributing to business development.
