About the Project
The Logan and Gold Coast Faster Rail (LGC) Project will double the number of rail tracks and upgrade stations for a 20 kilometre section of the Beenleigh and Gold Coast lines between Kuraby, a suburb south of Brisbane's CBD, and Beenleigh, a suburb of Logan City.
About the Role
Acciona are currently seeking experienced Surveyors to join our Alliance team and support the delivery of a major infrastructure project. Reporting to the Survey Manager, you will be responsible for these
key deliverables:
- Deliver construction set-out for various scopes including roads, drainage, utilities, concrete and SMP (Structural, Mechanical & Piping) works, dependent on competencies
- Coordinate closely with site-based construction teams and subcontractors
- Interpret project specifications and plans, forming digital models for construction set-out
- Follow established survey procedures and processes to meet Alliance objectives
- Calibrate and maintain survey equipment to required standards
- Support project monitoring and progress reporting, including as-built documentation
- Complete survey computations and collaborate with the survey data management team
- Actively participate in all Alliance Safety initiatives, promoting a strong safety culture
- Collaborate with the broader GIS and Digital Engineering teams
- Support initiatives that enhance the working experience across the Alliance
About You
- Diploma equivalent in surveying and/or bachelor's degree in surveying with considerable experience supporting large civil infrastructure projects
- Demonstrated experience in 12D (Model, Field and Synergy) desirable
- Machine Control Experience desirable
- Experience in concrete and SMP (Structural, mechanical, piping) desirable
- Intermediate in MS Suite
- Able to work in a high performing and professional team with a genuine desire to be part of this amazing and challenging project
