Role Overview

The Datacenter and Cloud Lead is responsible for end-to-end ownership of cloud (AWS & Azure) and on-premises platforms ensuring availability, performance, security, and optimization of cloud services. The role drives acting as the primary interface for customer stakeholders and escalations.

Key Responsibilities

A. Service Delivery & Operations

• Own BAU cloud operations across all workloads of Cloud (AWS & Azure) and on-premises environments
• Ensure high availability, performance, and resilience of infrastructure platforms
• Manage incident, problem, and change management
• Drive adherence to SLA/KPI commitments and service reporting
• Ensure proactive monitoring, event correlation, and alert response
• Drive continuous improvement and automation initiatives
• Own Backup and Disaster Recovery (DR) strategy and execution
• Conduct DR drills and ensure readiness

B. Governance & Escalation Management

• Act as single point of ownership for all infrastructure related escalations
• Lead P1/P2 incident bridges and customer communications
• Ensure structured escalation processes and timely resolution
• Provide governance reporting (weekly/monthly forums)

C. Cloud Engineering & Architecture

• Lead cloud design, architecture validation, and deployment strategies
• Drive cloud migration, modernization, and transformation initiatives
• Oversee automation, DevOps, and infrastructure-as-code practices

D. Security & Compliance

• Ensure cloud and on-premises environments comply with:
• Security policies
• Vulnerability remediation SLAs
• Regulatory/audit requirements
• Drive cloud and on-premises security posture improvements and remediation actions

E. Stakeholder Management

• Act as primary interface with customer cloud stakeholders
• Provide strategic guidance and advisory on cloud roadmap
• Participate in governance calls, steering committees, and audits

Key Skills & Expertise

• Strong hands-on experience in AWS, Azure, Windows, Active Directory and VMWare environment
• Expertise in:
• Cloud architecture & migration
• DevOps (CI/CD, IaC – Terraform)
• Active Directory Domain architecture and depended services
• VMWare infrastructure
• Understanding of:
• ITIL processes
• Security & compliance frameworks
