Overview

At Digitas, we create meaningful customer experiences that connect brands and people in smarter, more engaging ways. We're looking for a mid-level Digital Designer who combines strong design craft with conceptual thinking and a curiosity for emerging technology.

This is a hands-on creative role where you'll work across digital experiences, CRM communications, customer journeys, websites and campaign assets, helping shape ideas from concept through to execution. You'll collaborate closely with creatives, strategists, developers and project teams while taking ownership of your work and contributing fresh thinking to every brief.

Based in our Melbourne office, you'll join a supportive national team and play a key role in delivering work for one of Australia's most recognised brands.

Responsibilities

  • Design engaging digital experiences across CRM, customer journeys, websites, landing pages, EDMs and other digital touchpoints.
  • Translate briefs into compelling, user-focused creative solutions from initial concept through to final delivery.
  • Partner closely with a copywriter, strategists, developers and account teams to bring ideas to life.
  • Contribute to rapid concept development and creative ideation for digital experiences and campaigns.
  • Create high-quality static, interactive and motion-based assets that align with brand guidelines and user needs.
  • Take ownership of projects, confidently presenting design rationale and incorporating feedback to strengthen outcomes.
  • Manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining a high level of craft and attention to detail.
  • Explore and apply AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance creative thinking, workflows and design output.
  • Help champion creativity, collaboration and continuous improvement across the team.
  • Support the evolution of digital design systems, assets and best practices.

Great Candidates Will Have

  • Around 3-5 years' experience in digital design, within a digital / creative agency environment.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing digital design work across websites, customer experiences, CRM or digital campaigns.
  • Advanced skills in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Exposure to After Effects or motion design is highly regarded.
  • Experience developing creative concepts as well as delivering polished final artwork.
  • Strong understanding of digital user experiences, customer journeys and best-practice design principles.
  • Ability to work autonomously, manage stakeholder feedback and confidently own creative decisions.
  • Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams including strategists, developers and project teams.
  • Curiosity for AI and emerging creative technologies, with a willingness to experiment and learn.
  • Excellent organisation, prioritisation and communication skills.
  • Exposure to CRM design or lifecycle marketing is beneficial, but not essential—we can help you build that capability
