Merchandise Planner

This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly established planning team within a fast-paced, large-format retail environment. Supporting a key Furnishings category, you will play a critical role in driving sales, profitability and inventory performance through data-driven planning and commercial decision-making.

Offering genuine career progression into Senior Planner and Planning Manager opportunities, this role is ideal for an experienced Planner looking to further develop their career within a collaborative and commercially focused retail business.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage sales, stock and inventory plans to achieve category objectives
• Provide forecasting, reporting and analysis to support commercial decision-making
• Manage inventory performance, replenishment and markdown strategies
• Partner closely with Buying, Supply Chain and key stakeholders to drive category performance
• Support seasonal reviews and identify opportunities to maximise sales and profitability

What We're Looking For

• 4+ years' experience in Merchandise Planning, Retail Planning or a similar planning function
• Strong forecasting, inventory management and analytical capability
• Advanced Excel skills and confidence interpreting data and reporting
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience within large-format, big-box or high-volume retail environments highly regarded
