About the role
An outstanding opportunity has emerged for an engaging, people-focused Store Manager to join Officeworks at our Wetherill Park store. The successful applicant will bring an impressive track record of achievement in retail management while demonstrating a highly engaging and collaborative style to help drive a fun, positive and safe culture in store.
As a Store Business Manager, you will inspire your team to deliver an exceptional experience in-store for our customers. You will develop a strong understanding of your store team, and provide coaching and development opportunities to set your team up for success. This includes providing training and coaching in safety, as well as leading from the front in terms of workplace health and safety.
Ensuring that the operation of your store is managed effectively to deliver outstanding results, you will maximise sales and profit earnings while maintaining expense levels according to budget.
About you
To succeed in this role, you will bring with you:
Previous experience in a senior retail management role where you have led a large successful team - roughly 30+ as a minimum
Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team
Flexible availability across our span of hours
A strong understanding of a variety of Retail Operations
Previous experience working to KPIs and budgets
Effective time management and organisational skills
Demonstrated people leadership and safety management.
