Business Development Manager

We're looking for a commercially driven Business Development Manager to grow Beacon Lighting Commercial across Victoria. Working with builders, electricians, developers, wholesalers and project stakeholders, you'll identify new opportunities, strengthen industry relationships and deliver lighting solutions that shape some of Australia's largest commercial and residential projects.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

You'll spend most of your week out on the road, building relationships and uncovering new opportunities across Victoria. Your day will include:

• Building and growing long-term relationships with builders, electricians, developers, wholesalers and key project stakeholders

• Identifying and converting new commercial and trade opportunities

• Preparing quotations, proposals and commercial agreements

• Providing product expertise and lighting solutions to customers

• Working closely with internal teams to ensure projects are delivered seamlessly

• Managing your sales pipeline and CRM while achieving sales and gross profit targets

• Representing Beacon Lighting Commercial at industry events and client meetings

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE IN THIS ROLE

• Experience in business development or account management within the lighting, electrical or construction industry
• Strong commercial acumen with a proven ability to win new business
• A confident relationship builder who enjoys being in front of customers
• Self-motivated with excellent time management and the ability to work autonomously
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Current Australian Driver's License
