General Manager – Great Australian DentalGreat Australian Dental is seeking an experienced, commercially minded, and highly organised General Manager to oversee the operational performance of our growing group of dental practices.Reporting directly to the CEO and the Board, the General Manager will play a key leadership role in driving operational excellence, supporting our practice managers and clinicians, and ensuring our practices achieve their financial and operational objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport and mentor practice managers to achieve strong operational performance.Work collaboratively with dentists and practice managers to identify operational improvements and equipment requirements, while managing expenditure responsibly.Oversee equipment maintenance and capital expenditure planning.Manage HR matters, employment contracts, employee relations, and performance management.Lead the recruitment and onboarding of dentists and other key team members.Coordinate and oversee Facebook and Google advertising campaigns, working closely with external marketing providers where required.Liaise with recruitment agencies and other external stakeholders.Monitor financial and operational KPIs across all practices and implement strategies to improve performance where required.Develop and implement systems and processes that improve efficiency, patient experience, and profitability.Provide regular operational reports and strategic recommendations to the CEO and the Board.Be an integral member of the Due Diligence (DD) Team for future clinic acquisitions, assisting with operational assessments and acquisition planning.Work alongside the Due Diligence Team and C-suite executives to onboard newly acquired clinics, ensuring a smooth operational integration into the Great Australian Dental group.About YouThe successful applicant will have:Demonstrated experience in multi-site operations or senior management.Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and people management abilities.Experience in HR, recruitment, and performance management.A commercial mindset with the ability to balance operational needs with financial performance.Experience participating in business acquisitions, due diligence, or post-acquisition integration will be highly regarded.Experience in healthcare or dental management is desirable but not essential.Why Join Great Australian Dental?Work directly with the CEO, Board, and C-suite leadership team.Play a key role in the continued growth and acquisition strategy of one of Australia’s expanding dental groups.Be actively involved in evaluating and integrating future clinic acquisitions.Lead a business focused on continuous improvement and exceptional patient care.Enjoy a diverse executive leadership role with genuine autonomy and the opportunity to make a significant impact.Applications from candidates based in Tasmania, Melbourne, Sydney, or elsewhere in Australia are welcome.Please submit your CV and cover letter to:***email_hidden***
