Interior Designer (2–4 Years' Experience)

Cottee Parker Architects is a nationally recognised, design-led practice delivering award-winning projects across hospitality, commercial, multi-residential, luxury residential and retail.

We're looking for a talented Interior Designer with 2–4 years' experience to join our Brisbane Interiors team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong design capability who enjoys working collaboratively with architects to deliver exceptional interior environments.

We're particularly interested in candidates with experience across multi-residential, hotels, commercial workplace or retail, ideally gained within an architectural practice.

About the Role

Working alongside our experienced Interior Design and Architectural teams, you'll contribute across all stages of project delivery—from concept design through to documentation and construction.

You'll have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, helping shape innovative and practical design solutions while developing your technical and professional skills. The role aligns with CPA's Interior Designer position description, including design development, client engagement, project coordination and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.

What You'll Bring

• 2–4 years' professional interior design experience.
• Experience working on multi-residential, hotel, commercial workplace or retail projects.
• Previous experience within an architectural practice will be highly regarded.
• Strong conceptual design skills and a genuine passion for creating outstanding interior spaces.
• Excellent space planning, material selection and FF&E knowledge.
• Confidence preparing presentations, mood boards and client design documentation.
• Proficiency in Revit and Adobe Creative Suite (essential). Experience with Enscape and Archicad is advantageous.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with consultants, clients and project teams.
• A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow.
