About the Project

CPC Engineering is delivering a mid-sized, lump sum minerals processing project. We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to take ownership of delivery from execution through to construction and handover. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who thrives on the complexity and pace of process plant construction, and who understands what it takes to deliver a lump sum contract profitably and on schedule.

The Role

Reporting to the Manager of Projects, you'll be accountable for the overall delivery of the project — safety, cost, schedule, quality and client relationship management. You'll lead a multidisciplinary project team and work closely with engineering, procurement and construction functions to ensure the project is delivered to specification and within the contracted lump sum.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full accountability for project delivery under a lump sum contract structure, including cost control, forecasting and margin protection
  • Lead project planning, scheduling and risk management across all phases (engineering, procurement, construction)
  • Manage the construction execution strategy, including contractor and subcontractor performance
  • Drive HSE culture and compliance across the project team and site
  • Manage client relationships, contract administration, variations and claims
  • Lead and mentor site and project support teams
  • Report project status, risks and financial performance to senior leadership
  • Ensure quality assurance and compliance with relevant standards and regulatory requirements

About You

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Extensive technical Project Management experience on mineral processing, industrial or heavy process infrastructure projects
  • A strong Construction background — ideally with hands-on site experience prior to moving into project management
  • Proven experience delivering lump sum / fixed price contracts, with a solid understanding of contract and commercial management
  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
  • Strong commercial acumen and demonstrated ability to manage project cost, schedule and risk
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build trust across client, contractor and internal teams
  • A genuine commitment to safety leadership
  • Experience working in the minerals, mining, or heavy industrial sector highly regarded

What's on Offer

  • Competitive hourly rate / salary commensurate with experience
  • Opportunity to lead delivery of a significant regional project
  • Supportive senior leadership team and genuine career progression
  • This is a Perth based role but will require regular site visits (within WA)
