We are currently seeking a Road Maintenance Worker to join our team delivering road and drainage maintenance services across the Melton Shire . This is a great opportunity to secure long-term, stable employment while contributing to safer and better-maintained local infrastructure.

About the Role
As a Road Maintenance Worker, you will support a variety of road and drainage maintenance activities, helping to maintain council assets and ensure safe, functional infrastructure for the local community.
Your day-to-day duties may include:
- Road maintenance and repair works
- Drainage maintenance and installation
- Minor concreting works
- General labouring and civil maintenance tasks
- Traffic management support
- Operating hand and power tools
- Assisting with emergency call-outs when required
- Maintaining a strong commitment to safety and Zero Harm principles
About You
We're looking for someone who is reliable, safety-focused and enjoys working as part of a team.
To be successful, you will have:
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Current Driver's Licence (MR or HR Licence highly regarded)
- White Card (General Construction Induction)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to workplace health and safety
- Ability to successfully complete a Working With Children Check (WWCC)
Desirable qualifications and experience
- Traffic Control Ticket
- CPR and First Aid Certificate
- Previous experience in road maintenance, drainage, concreting or general labouring
