The Opportunity
Reporting to the Solution Architect within the Digital and Program Delivery team, this role is responsible for delivering secure, streamlined, and outcome-focused digital solutions through reliable and integrated technology platforms.
Leading a team of internal and external technical resources, working closely with external suppliers and vendors, project teams, IT Service Operations as well as Strategy and Architecture teams. The role will ensure building effective and efficient team for successful delivery of IT Digital and Program delivery plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the technical solutions team ensuring delivery to meet business needs using existing or new systems, applications, or custom developed capabilities within the enterprise architecture constraints.
- Coach, mentor and build effective teams by leading a culture of accountability, teamwork, customer focus and innovation in the team.
- Implement solution analysis related policy, quality systems and procedures to promote the achievement of standards where these standards and associated guidelines are often not available.
- Contribute to the IT Digital and Program delivery plans and cost estimates, compliance, specific IT platform knowledge and development plans, and advice into business cases from delivery aspects.
- Build trusted relationships with business and IT stakeholders. This includes providing thought leadership and expertise in technology design and implementation to help shape and influence the strategies.

About you
To be successful in this role you will have the following:
- Tertiary Qualification in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or other Information Technology related fields with further formal qualifications in the field of expertise.
- Extensive experience leading, mentoring, and motivating a technology development or platform delivery team responsible for design and implementation of solutions within a medium-sized organisation.
- Experience in applying technology architecture policies and principles into the design, build and implementation of a technology solutions, including data, infrastructure, and business information systems.
- Knowledge of project management framework including PRINCE2 and PMBOK, with extensive experience working with key stakeholders and managing team delivering multiple projects and programs of work.
