Key Accounts Analyst

As a Key Accounts Analyst, you'll be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of key accounts, ensuring contractual service levels and client expectations are consistently exceeded. Working closely with internal teams, retailers, meter providers, and suppliers, you'll coordinate energy data, manage reporting requirements, resolve client queries, and support projects that improve energy efficiency and environmental outcomes.

This is a varied role that combines client relationship management, data analysis, reporting, and operational coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day relationships with key account clients, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Coordinate with retailers, meter providers, suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve client enquiries.
  • Monitor, validate and manage energy and metering data to ensure accuracy across internal systems.
  • Prepare and deliver a range of energy and sustainability reports, including:
  • Energy usage reporting
  • Forecasting and accrual reporting
  • Tariff analysis
  • Solar ROI reporting
  • NGERS reporting
  • Support energy billing verification and resolve billing discrepancies.
  • Manage client requests and issue resolution through the CRM system.
  • Assist with power recovery billing activities and portfolio administration.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, client records and process documentation.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and system enhancements.
  • Ensure all client deliverables are completed on time while meeting contractual KPIs and service standards.

Desirable Experience

  • Degree or tertiary qualification in Engineering, Science, Environmental Studies or a related discipline.
  • Experience within the energy, utilities, environmental, metering or consulting sectors.
  • Experience working with CRM systems and managing client data.
  • Exposure to energy reporting, billing verification or sustainability reporting.
