What you'll be up to
The Inventory Manager oversees the onboarding, maintenance and optimisation of QMS Media's commercial assets across national platforms and systems. Working across Commercial, Sales, Product, Operations, Technology and Campaign Delivery, the role ensures assets are accurately configured and maintained to support efficient campaign delivery, reporting and revenue growth. In addition you will also:
- Lead the end-to-end onboarding of commercial assets across trading, delivery, reporting and industry platforms, ensuring accurate configuration and timely go-live.
- Maintain the integrity of commercial inventory data, ensuring accuracy, consistency and a single source of truth across all systems.
- Develop, maintain and continuously improve onboarding standards, processes, documentation and governance.
- Conduct regular audits to identify and resolve data quality issues, improving system integrity and operational efficiency.
- Partner with Product, Strategy, Sales Operations, Technology and Commercial teams to coordinate asset launches and system readiness.
- Support system enhancements through requirements, testing, implementation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage project plans, timelines, risks and cross-functional dependencies to deliver successful onboarding and process improvement projects.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, quality standards and operational requirements, including alignment with Network Operations Centre and digital asset initiatives.
What we’re looking for
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Marketing, Information Systems, Data Analytics or a related field (desirable).
- Experience in media, advertising, digital, inventory or operational environments, with exposure to trading, booking, campaign delivery or inventory management systems.
- Experience supporting system implementations, process improvements, data migration or project delivery using structured methodologies (e.g. Agile, Scrum or PRINCE2) is advantageous.
- Strong skills in asset and inventory management, data integrity, system administration, process improvement and project coordination.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, risks, dependencies and cross-functional stakeholder relationships.
- Commercially minded with strong analytical, problem-solving and documentation skills.
- Excellent communication, collaboration and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
- Demonstrates accountability, integrity, curiosity, initiative and a commitment to continuous improvement and a positive team culture.
