About The Role
The Salvation Army is seeking a highly organised and proactive
Course Coordinator to support the delivery of vocational education and training programs. This role is responsible for coordinating training activities, managing student administration, engaging with key stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with RTO requirements to deliver an exceptional learner experience.
The role is a fixed term (6 months) full time based in Sydney/Melbourne.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate vocational training programs to meet learner, employer and organisational needs.
- Support the development and continuous improvement of training and assessment strategies and materials.
- Liaise with trainers, students, eLearning specialists and internal stakeholders to ensure effective program delivery.
- Manage sales enquiries, student enrolment and orientation
- Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, manage enrolments, and issue credentials.
- Respond to enquiries professionally and provide exceptional customer service.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with trainers, learners, external partners and government stakeholders.
- Contribute to quality assurance, compliance, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
You are an organised and detail-oriented professional with strong administration, coordination and stakeholder engagement skills. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about education and training. To be successful in this role you will require;
- Experience in course coordination, business administration, education or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in vocational education and training (VET) and RTO compliance requirements is highly regarded.
- Strong communication, relationship-building and customer service skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate records.
- Proficiency in student management systems, learning management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- The ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
